Welcome to my Fall Home Tour! I will admit, this is the very first time I’ve done this and I’m so excited to share. I know I’ve mentioned over on Instagram that I’m not usually big on seasonal decor but I have loved this year’s fall decor. Can you believe we’re already so close to fall? I was in a bit of denial but I think I’m finally ready. Bring on all the sweaters and boots!
Before I get on to my Fall Home Tour, I will preface this by saying I am not very big on traditional fall colors. I’m very attracted to neutrals and cool color palettes so its a no brainer that my fall decor would fall in line. I also, plan to transition some of my fall items right into the Christmas holiday season. Last year, I went with traditional Christmas colors, so this year will be a complete change.

Now! On to the Fall Home Tour! I wanted to keep our front porch fairly simple, so I utilized the lanterns I purchased for last year’s Christmas porch removed all of the ornaments. In addition to the pumpkins, I also wanted to add some greenery but not too much because I don’t have much of a green thumb.
I’ve always adored ornamental cabbage so I when I walked the aisles of Lowes Home & Garden section, it kept calling my name. I made this simple planter using a crafting pumpkin. I simply carved a hole right in the top and placed my pot in. That’s it!
I also made a super easy Fall wreath using florals I found at Michaels.
As you enter the foyer, I added very subtle hints of fall. I switched out my summer florals on my entryway table and added lots of Eucalyptus leaves. Then I stacked a few design books and placed this cute little wooden pumpkin on top.
Fall Entryway Decor
I also think your entryway should be warm and inviting. The bench is a great way to add warmth using blankets and pillows. I swapped my summer throw pillows for these fall colored ones and replaced the wall decor with these free Fall printables that I found over at Maison de Pax. They are even more stunning in person!
Fall Dining Tablescape
Moving on to the dining room, I created a fall tablescape using plenty of eucalyptus leaves and pumpkins I found at At Home Store. I’ll probably swap out a few things as we get closer to Thanksgiving but for now I love the subtle hints of fall.
Fall Kitchen Decor
Lastly, I wanted to add something simple to the kitchen island. I typically swap out decor here. Sometimes it’s fresh flowers or a tray with fabric napkins and candles. The clear pumpkins add an elegant touch without feeling overwhelming. I brought a little more blue by placing a blue placemat just for color and texture.
So that’s it! Pretty simple, right?! Have you decorated for fall? If not, don’t be afraid to shop outside the seasonal decor aisles and get creative! Drop a comment down below, email me or tag me on Instagram @homeonpoplarcreek to share your looks!
Until next time,
