So a few weeks ago, I did a thing…. I FINALLY purchased an air fryer and have not looked back! Where the heck have I been?! We gifted one to my mom last Christmas so I already knew how convenient they are and how tasty your food comes out but for some reason I have dragged my feet on making the purchase. Well I’m so glad I did! The very first thing I did with my air fryer was tried my hand at making cod nuggets for the boys and they came out AMAZING!

There are so many brands of Air Fryers on the market but I opted for the Ninja because it had such great reviews. And it was on sale at Target. Win and Win!

One thing I really love about using the air fryer is the easy clean up. I’m not big on frying our food, but every now and then we have a taste for something crunchy. With the air fryer I was able to get the same effect without the extra grease.

A Few Things You Should Know About Air Fryer Cod Nuggets…

Number 1… they’re really addictive. Secondly, the air fryer cooks really fast. I suggest standing close by and checking on your nuggets at least every 3-4 minutes. Also, in order to get a crispy golden finish, spray your nuggets lightly with a coat of olive oil cooking spray. Then give them a good shake here and there to make sure they are cooking evenly.

If you’re making the air fryer cod nuggets for yourself and the kids, I highly suggest the homemade tartar sauce on the side. Yeah, I know kids only like ketchup which is why I didn’t share with mine. But the tanginess of the tartar sauce was perfect alongside these zesty cod nuggets!

Hey Nicole, these look fantastic. I haven’t gotten in the air fryer band wagon…but I really want oneZ I’ve got my eyes on an air fryer/instant pot combo. I LOVE my instant pot.
