Create a modern easy pumpkin succulent centerpiece using faux succulents and pumpkin to enjoy season after season.

Hey friend! This week I’ve spent my time trying to make our home feel a little more season friendly. I’m not one to really decorate for Halloween, but the boys love it. I obliged and we’ve added a Halloween decorations just for fun.
Since they got their decorations, of course momma needed something for herself! I wanted to create something that would look seasonable but also something I can reuse.

Using a faux craft pumpkin and a few faux succulents, I created a super cute and modern inspired pumpkin succulent centerpiece. Keep reading to see how you can create your own!
materials needed:

how to make a pumpkin succulent centerpiece
First, place your cake form at the top of your pumpkin and trace an outline. This will be the size of the opening.

Next, using a sharp knife or blade, cut the opening, which will allow the foam to fit snugly in the center.

Using your hot glue gun, glue the half round wood balls to the surface of your pumpkin. You can create a organic design or a uniform design the way I did.

Give your pumpkin a coat of your black spray paint. I started with a paint I had on hand but it came out streaky. I applied the spray paint right on top.

Once dry, glue your moss on top of the foam.

Lastly, arrange your succulents to your desired look. With the faux succulents you can arrange and rearrange them to your liking.

And that’s it! You’ve just created a super easy centerpiece! I would love to see your creations. Tag me over on Instagram or shoot me an email of your centerpiece.
