Fall 2019 One Room Challenge // Week Three

Wow! The time is definitely flying. Here we are in Week 3 of the One Room Challenge and I feel so behind. This week I haven’t been able to work as much as I would have liked to because of commitments to my family, home and a new design client. I’m still finishing up the trim and am almost there. The biggest goal for this coming week is to get the trim finished and start on the ceiling.

So far, I have managed to get my light fixture and rug ordered and have gotten that in. I have also been second guessing my decision about the sideboard.

I would love to add a curio cabinet so I’ve been looking at console tables to go in place of the sideboard. Here’s some inspo that has gotten me so confused about my decision:

The boys and I also took at trip to IKEA so I could scope out options for a display cabinet. I really think I’m leaning toward the Billy with glass doors but I just don’t know! How are you guys doing with making decisions for the challenge?

Next week, I plan to have finished with the wall trim and will at least get started (wishful thinking) with my ceiling panels. For now, make sure you check out the progress of all the other One Room Challenge designers and guests here.

Until next time,

Like you I was having trouble making decisions but am glad to say I’ve got just about everything nailed down. I’m excited to see your space to come together. The trim you’re adding is looking great.

Thank you Shelly! It’s tough when you have a short time frame to make a decision. I’m glad you’ve got everything nailed down!
