I can’t believe we’re already in week two of the Fall One Room Challenge! If you’re new here, Welcome! If you’re returning, thank you so much for coming back!
I wish I could say I’ve gotten so much more done this past week but that’s just not the case. Honestly, I’ve struggled to keep up and juggle other things but I’m optimistic that I can get everything done in time.
This week I’m planning to finish up my recessed panels and order all of the items I’ve sourced. It doesn’t look like much right now but it will soon! I’ve been playing around with the placement of my trim which is why you see all of the painter’s tape.
My wallpaper has come in, which is about the only thing I’ve managed to get done. The wallpaper was the one must have item in my design so I’m relieved to know it’s here.
Last week I mentioned I would like to add wood planks to the ceiling. I’m still holding out hope that I can make it happen. I feel a lot more confident about the work itself now that I’ve been in the room and made some progress.
For the rest of the week, I’ll continue working to get the panels up and praying I’ll be ready to caulk by the weekend. Wish me luck because I’m going to need every bit of it!
Don’t forget to check in to see what all of the other ORC designers and guest participants are up to this week and give them a good cheer! And don’t forget to follow me on Instagram. I’ll be sharing some gems and updates along the way!
Until next time,
